The Heart Behind The Shine
Why I Decided To Ban Industrial Chemicals From Our Mandirs
For generations, the morning pooja has been the most peaceful part of our day. It is a time of pure devotion, lit agarbattis, and sacred shlokas.
But behind that peace, there was a quiet, painful reality that we all just accepted as "normal."
I watched how cleaning the Murtis, Diyas and Kalash left hands cracked, dry, and rough. I saw how traditional powders scratched our beautiful pooja thalis, and how the strong, choking smell of liquid polishes ruined the pure scent of our Mandir.
I asked myself a simple question: We bathe our Deities in pure milk, honey, and Gangajal. Why are we scrubbing them with the exact same harsh, toxic detergents used to clean bathroom floors?
It felt fundamentally wrong. Our devotion is pure; the way we care for our sacred items should be pure, too.
That is the day Divyam Shine was born.
My name is Shalin Himanshu Mehta. I didn't want to just create another cleaning product; I wanted to create a completely new standard of care.
I spent countless hours in the lab, throwing out every cheap industrial chemical, toxic acid slurry, and harsh abrasive the industry relies on.
Instead, I looked to premium skincare. I engineered a formula using organic fruit extracts, skin-softening plant glycerin, and microscopic volcanic compounds, and infused it with sacred Gangajal. I wanted a cleaning solution that was so safe, so gentle, and so pure that you could use it bare-handed every single day without a second thought.
Divyam Shine is not just a metal cleaner. It is a promise to protect your family's health, preserve your heirloom idols, and return the absolute purity to your daily prayers.
From our family’s Mandir to yours, thank you for trusting us.
