Return and Refund Policy

At Divyam Shine, our goal is simple: To restore the divine glow of your idols.

Because our products are Liquid Formulations used for hygiene and cleaning, they fall under the "Non-Returnable Category" of goods. However, we stand by our quality with our "Devotee's Promise."

Please read the following terms carefully to understand your rights.

GENERAL RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature of the product (Chemical Formulation/Consumable), we DO NOT accept returns for:

  • Change of Mind: "I decided I don't want it anymore."

  • Opened/Used Bottles: Once the seal is broken, the product cannot be restocked or resold for safety reasons.

  • Incorrect Variant: If you ordered the wrong size/variant by mistake (unless the package is completely sealed and you pay for return shipping).

Exception: We only accept returns/replacements if the item delivered is Damaged, Leaking, or Incorrect (e.g., you ordered 500ml but got 100ml).

THE "DEVOTEE'S PROMISE"

We are confident in our formula. If you genuinely feel that Divyam Shine did not clean your Idols or caused damage, we offer a "No-Questions-Asked" Refund under the following strict conditions:

Eligibility for Refund:

  • First-Time Customers Only: This guarantee applies only to your first order.

  • Claim Period: You must raise a claim within 7 Days of delivery.

  • Usage Limit: The bottle must not be more than 50% used.

  • Proof of Failure: We may request a photo of the "Before and After" usage to understand why the product failed (for our R&D purposes).

Refund Process:

  1. Contact us at support@divyamshine.com with your Order ID and reason.

  2. We may not ask you to ship the bottle back (to save you courier costs).

  3. We will initiate a 100% Refund of the Product Value (excluding Shipping Charges).

DAMAGED / DEFECTIVE / LEAKING PRODUCTS

If your package arrives damaged, leaking, or if you receive the wrong item, we will provide a Free Replacementimmediately.

To Claim a Replacement:

  1. Mandatory Unboxing Video: You MUST record a clear, 360-degree unboxing video showing the condition of the package upon opening. Photos alone may not be accepted.

  2. Reporting Window: You must report the issue within 24 Hours of delivery via WhatsApp or Email. Claims made after 24 hours will be rejected.

  3. Resolution: Upon verification of the video, we will ship a fresh replacement within 48 hours. No need to return the damaged bottle.

THE "DEVOTEE'S PROMISE"

  • Before Dispatch: If you wish to cancel your order, please WhatsApp us immediately. If the order has not been handed over to the courier, we will cancel it and issue a Full Refund instantly.

  • After Dispatch: Once the tracking number is generated, the order cannot be cancelled.

If you refuse delivery at the doorstep: We will refund the amount after deducting a Reverse Shipping Fee of ₹80.

REFUND TIMELINES & METHODS

  • Once a refund is approved, it will be processed as follows:

  • Prepaid Orders (Credit Card/UPI): The amount will be refunded to the Original Source within 5–7 Business Days.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Since we cannot refund cash, you must provide your UPI ID or Bank Account Details. The amount will be transferred within 3–5 Business Days.

NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS

  • We reserve the right to reject a refund request if:

  • The claim is raised after 7 days of delivery.

  • The unboxing video is edited, cut, or missing.

  • The product was damaged due to misuse (e.g., used on Painted Idols despite warnings).

  • The customer has a history of abusing the Return Policy (e.g., repeatedly ordering and refunding).

POLICY ON AI-GENERATED & MANIPULATED MEDIA

  • To maintain the integrity of our "Devotee's Promise," we strictly enforce a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding manipulated evidence.

    A. Authentic Proof Requirement: All photos and videos submitted for claims (Returns, Refunds, or Damage Reports) must be Raw, Unedited, and Original.

  • Prohibited: The use of AI tools (e.g., Photoshop Generative Fill, Midjourney, Deepfakes), filters, color grading, or digital alteration of any kind.

  • Metadata Verification: We reserve the right to inspect the EXIF Data/Metadata of submitted files to verify the date, time, and device used.

    B. Consequences of Fake Evidence: If our forensic analysis determines that a submitted image or video has been generated or altered using AI or editing software:

  • Immediate Rejection: The refund/replacement claim will be instantly denied.

  • Permanent Ban: The customer account will be blacklisted from future purchases.

  • Legal Action: In cases of significant attempted fraud, Divyam Shine reserves the right to report the incident to cyber-crime authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
